- ◆Floats on water
- ◆3 mm – 24 mm diameters
- ◆Twisted, plaited & braided constructions
- ◆Breaking-load certificate per coil
Overview
Polypropylene rope is the general-purpose workhorse of Indian cordage: it floats, resists rot and most chemicals, and costs a fraction of nylon at comparable everyday loads. We extrude and twist in-house, so diameter, colour, lay and breaking load are all controlled and certified per coil.
Available as 3-strand twisted, 8-strand plaited and double-braided constructions from 3 mm to 24 mm, sold by coil or by kilogram.

Buying advice
- 💡 Buy by minimum breaking load, not by diameter alone — construction changes strength.
- 💡 Insist on UV-treated rope for any outdoor tie-down in South Indian sun.
- 💡 PP floats, so it is the right choice for marine and pond work; nylon is not.
- 💡 Coils are priced by weight — confirm metres per kg for true cost comparison.
