Overview
Silpaulin-grade tarpaulins use a three-layer cross-laminated construction: HDPE woven core between two LDPE films, with the outer face pigmented silver to reflect ~85% of incident solar radiation.
Result: contents stay 8–12 °C cooler than under a comparable coloured HDPE tarp — a game-changer for stored grain, warehoused electronics and heat-sensitive cargo.
